Apples and Roosters

Gregory and I went apple-picking with a few other moms and kids last week. We found out when we got to the orchard that the apples weren't quite ready for picking, but they let us pick a few of the most ripe ones in the ripest orchard. Greogry was delighted with the goats, turkeys, and chickens that were there. He was pecked by a bossy rooster while patting a goat. This is how he looked the rest of the time he was near the pens, with his hands as close to his body as possible. Too bad for the friendly goats that kept sticking their heads out for Gregory to pat. Gregory also enjoyed actually picking the apples, which surprised me. But then again, apples are kind of like balls, and he loves to collect those.
