Food Festival with the Aunts

Food is big part of my family's experience. So the International Food Festival that coincided with the Big Visit was perfect. Well, almost. We first went on Saturday, after walking to the farmer's market and letting the kids play in playground and fountain. The festival was on the far side of the same huge park and by the time we got there, we were hot and tired. We ate and limped home. We went again for dinner on Sunday. This time, we were well rested, the weather was mild, and the walk seemed a lot shorter. We got to only a fraction of the booths because of the kids and time restraints, but that was enough time to sample lots of great food, including Thai, Afghan, Israeli, Mexican, and Romanian. As you can see, Gregory also sampled some good ol' American staples.

Here are a few pictures of us chowing down. (By the way, the Greek festival was this week, so Jon and I got to eat even more great festival food! Chomp chomp chomp!!)
