Apple Picking

Gregory has been after us to go apple picking since he found the apple tree in our neighbor's yard. We finally went this Saturday, to a small orchard about an hour away. There is always the worry that an actual event won't live up to an enthusiastic 3 year old's expectations but he and Emmie had a great time. And now we have tons of apples, several with toddler bites taken out of them.

Emelia wasn't to sure about the bumpy tractor ride. I felt for the mom who had to ride the tractor around the orchard for two round trips.

The apples were great so we could let the kids pick just about any one they wanted. (Well, we had to tell Emelia that apples from off the ground were yucky.)

Big Girl Em did NOT need help carrying her bag of apples and preferred that would Mom stop offering to help.

Yum!
