I'm sure you all will be relieved to hear that I've finally turned in a complete draft of my dissertation to my committee. I know most of you thought I'd be in limbo land forever, but it's not so! The defense is set for December 5th.
Before you post or email me your congratulations, please first post or send one to Meaghan. She has worked so hard during this last year to keep us all afloat while I worked the hours away. She is in great need of congratulations!
(Now that I've completed the draft, I might even have a moment to post on the blog occasionally.)

That's great news, Jon. I'm sure no one is happier than Meaghan :) Good luck with the defense, but I thought the writing was the worst.
Yaaaaaaaaay!! Congratulations to both you and Meaghan! Does that mean you will be visiting Bloomington in December? Let us know if you need a place to stay, we have plenty of extra beds. Bring the family!
