Once Gregory and I found a huge spider in our backyard. He loved it! Including its legs, it was at least the size of a silver dollar:

He also liked to pretend to be scared of it. Meaghan would say, "Oh, what a scary spider," and Gregory would back away slowly with a pretend scared look until he was all the way on the other side of the yard. Then he would scream and run all the way around the house, only to come back and just about try to pick it up.
Here's a picture of Emmie Jane that I love:

When you see it, you have to wonder, "What's going through her head?" I don't think we were sure at the time, but now I know. She's saying, "Play with my feet! Play. With. My. Feet!
Gregory loves his little sister. Sometimes, he likes to pretend that he's still a little baby:

Here's a good picture of Emmie Jane's quirky sense of humor:

Emmie Jane and Gregory are surprisingly similar in many ways--but not every way. For example, Gregory is not at all scared of lions and tigers. I think if we let him, he would just jump into the cage and run up to them. Emmie, on the other hand, was apparently pretty scared after this incident:

I often post pictures of Gregory and me, or of Emmie Jane and Meaghan, but here's one of Emmie Jane and me where we actually look a little bit similar:

I love shiny, expensive things!

A couple more posts (how about some videos?) and I'll be caught up.
