Trick or treat!

Ok, so it's like two months after the fact, but whatever. For Halloween Gregory finally decided to move on from his standard Elephant costume, which he's worn the two years with sleeves and pants rolled up, and asked for something different this Halloween:

More than meets the eye! But when the time came to go to the Halloween party (and Birthday party for Susan and Brent's twins, Evelyn and Jessie), he just couldn't pull the trigger and decided to stick with the tried and true:

Stephen was a giraff, a hand-me-down, but very nice!, costume that Gregory wore:

It was a bit cold, so mom and Stephen stayed at the party while I took Gregory and Emmie trick-or-treating. The kids had a lot of fun!

Emmie was so excited for candy that she forgot to put her shoes on, and didn't even tell me as we were walking around outside!

But by the time I noticed there was no way I was getting her back to the house. The kids got a ton of candy, and Meaghan and I tried to eat most of it. But the kids are too cognizant of missing candy for that to work. I guess next year we'll have to buy some of ourselves!
