Wedding Reception

Unfortunately, I wasn't smart enough to get the camera for the actual wedding ceremony, so we don't have any pictures of that. It was beautiful, though. Meaghan spent most of it chasing Gregory around. After Emmie Jane went to sleep, I passed her off to her Aunt Dawn and helped Meaghan chase Gregory around some more.

The reception was great. Gregory spent nearly the entire time on the dance floor. I'm serious. I'll put up some pictures and videos later. It was quite a show. Emmie Jane got passed around to various relatives and friends. It was great to see everyone and get just a few moments to watch Gregory dance.

Now on to the pictures!

The bride was beautiful, and the groom dull in comparison. Get used to it, Chris:

We saw Meaghan's sister, Maryellen's, family, including my brother-in-law Stuart and my newphew Matthew:

My brother-in-law John with Matthew:

My beautiful wife and her glamourous sisters, Caroline and Renee, with Emmie trying to emulate them:

Meaghan's Aunt Barbara gets ready to take a picture, and my brother-in-law Michael gets ready to, uh, drink:

Meaghan's Aunt Mo enjoys time with Emmie, and was gracious enough to hold her for a long time while Meaghan, uh, did not have anything to drink:

Meaghan's Aunt Jan, Aunt Alice and Uncle Barnie enjoy a moment together:

Meaghan's Uncle John and Aunt Barbara spend a moment with their daughter-in-law Jackie:

Chris (not pictured) and Jackie live in South Dakota and John and Barbara live in Wisconsin so we're planning lots of family trips in the near future. (I vote for a family reunion in the Twin Cities next summer!) We look forward to seeing them soon.

Meaghan and her sisters pose:

Meaghan's Uncle Jim and my brother-in-law Geoff entertained with the bagpipes. They were really good!

Renee and my brother-in-law Gregory enjoy a moment with their cousin Patrick:

And, finally, I think I did get a moment or two with my lovely wife:

It was a fun night. (And that's not even mentioning the dancing.)
