Rehearsal dinner

The first big event of our trip to Virginia was the rehearsal dinner. It was a great time to meet everyone, including the bride and her family. The wedding party was a few minutes late to the dinner, so Gregory ran around outside the restaurant for a while. (Word on the street is that Gregory's Uncle Joseph had something to do with the lateness, but what do I know?) It was a cute restaurant and great food. Gregory had speghetti, the restaurant staple for him. He made quite a bit of mess, which you can see just a little in this picture:

Emmie Jane was a big crank, but cute nonetheless. Here she is with her grandpa and grandma:

Chasing Gregory around was a bit tiring:

But my brothers-in-law kept me awake:

It was especially nice to see everyone (and meet those whom I hadn't met yet) from Meaghan's side of the family. She has such a wonderful family, and it's great when we can spend time with them.
