My fears

have been realized. Even before having a child, for some reason I always feared that my child would prefer Meaghan over me. Well, now he does. I left for 8 days right when his stranger anxiety was really starting to kick in, and now he doesn't want me to hold him. He fusses and reaches for Meaghan. I'm sure it will go away eventually, but it's a sad, sad day in the Jacobs household--well, for me anyway. I think Meaghan secretly likes it.
