America in London

I'm now in London. The flight over wasn't too bad, though of course it was hard to get sleep, and now I'm very, very tired even though it's only 3:10pm here. Tim and I want to stay awake all day to avoid serious jet lag, so I thought I'd get some form of unique England caffeine:

What? Starbucks is good coffee!

Ok, so I got a little bit of the feel of London by walking down Regence Street:

Of course it was mostly stores like Gap and Nike. Surely I could find a nice British place to get online and upload some photos on my blog? Of course, at The Apple Store:

I'll try to get some more uniquely British experiences!

Oops, I guess I didn't say why I'm here, did I? I'm giving a paper on Thursday at the University of Bristol. Woo-hoo. Plus, I've totally gone rogue.
