Three

So baby number three, aka, Stephen Robert, who I hereby dub "The little little man," is coming in about three and a half weeks. I guess I better think about getting ready—you know, get that last bit of partying out of my system and all.

Today Meaghan and I finally decided to admit that we won't be able to stuff all three kids in the back seat of our Corolla. We'd love to be able to keep it and have two cars, but with the economy all up and dying on us, we can't really afford it. That means we'll have to trade it in for a mini-van.

My domestication will be almost complete. I'm not really sure when it'll be complete. Maybe someday we'll have a downpayment for a home with a white picket fence and a hypo-allergetic labradoodle for our seven kids to play with. I suppose that would do it.

Happy New Year, Bro! Here's to you and yours--including Stephen Robert.

Domestication? Dude, your institutionalized and have been since kindergarten. Tenure will simply complete your retreat into the padded walls of your mind;)

Btw, here's a link to my new garden page: http://gregorywade.blogspot.com/

It looks like I'll will incorporate some social networking into the community garden I've been working on. About a half dozen firm commitments, and over a dozen tentative ones far, and Eric--I sub-contract a little with him--has decided he wants to form a quasi-partnership. So it should be busy. I just need someone with your interest in photography to take the pictures.

I'll keep in touch.
