These pics are from the first few weeks of April, when the snow cover finally melted. What were previously the skating rinks were now muddy ponds with migrating ducks. Why did I think it would be a good idea to bring the kids here? Your guess is as good as mine.
This duck was the first thing the kids saw when they were born and they've been following her ever since.

After the thaw, it snowed again. Then it got warm. Then it snowed again. We are now hovering around the mid-50s and eagerly awaiting warmer weather.
Here's the kids in their new summer clothes that they got to wear during a warm spell.

Our neighbor has been graciously supplying us with tons of toys she no longer needs. The last load included a baby doll crib and high chair. Gregory was super excited until he learned he didn't fit in them.
