
Last week, fall arrived with so chilly temps that I had to find the kids winter hats. On average, the temperature falls over 10 degrees in September and another 10+ degrees in November. It's not the short summers as much as the micro springs and falls that give us the long Minnesota winters.

Wow, you sound like a seasoned Minnesotan now, getting ready to hunker down for the next winter! Is that the backyard in the first photo--it looks nice. It's getting pretty cool here in Bloomington in the mornings, but we haven't had to get our hats out yet. The kids look cute as always.
That is our backyard! It is most of it, actually.
We are back into the 70's this week, I'm happy to report. But the hats are at the ready! Thanks for commenting!
